Dear Zamling,
"My Life Feels Boring Sometimes"🙄🙄🙄
Sometimes, I feel like my life is boring. I wake up, go to school, do the same studies, and follow the same routine every day. It feels like nothing special is happening, and I wonder if other people are having more fun or doing more exciting things than me.
I see my friends laughing, going on trips, or achieving big things, and then I look at myself and feel small. I think, “Why is my life not like that?” But slowly, I am learning that it's okay to feel this way sometimes.
Even a boring life has small moments of joy—like walking with friends, talking about funny things, seeing a sunset, or listening to a favourite song. These are small things, but they are also part of life.
Sometimes, boring days help us rest. They give us time to think, to breathe, and to grow inside quietly. Life doesn’t always have to be exciting to be meaningful.
Now, I try to enjoy little things:
-
A good sleep
-
A kind word from a teacher
-
A peaceful moment in study
-
Drawing something or writing my thoughts
Maybe my life isn’t exciting like a movie, but it’s still my life. And slowly, day by day, I am building my own story—one small step at a time.
My Experience Reading News in Assembly😕
Reading news in the morning assembly was one of the most special but also scariest moments in my school life. When I was chosen to read the news, I felt both excited and nervous. I had always seen other students reading news so confidently, and now it was my turn.
I started preparing the day before. I selected some simple and clear news stories from the newspaper and practiced reading them loudly. I stood in front of the mirror, read slowly, and even asked my friends to listen and help me improve. At night, I even imagined myself standing confidently on the stage.
But on the actual day of the assembly, everything felt different. When I stood in front of the crowd, I suddenly became very nervous. My hands were shaking, my heart was beating fast, and my voice became soft. I forgot to take deep breaths and rushed through some lines. I knew I didn’t do my best, but I finished the reading without giving up.
After it was over, I felt sad and thought, “I could have done better.” But then, my friends and some teachers came to me and said kind words like:
👉 “Don’t worry, you did well for your first time!”
👉 “It’s normal to feel nervous. Next time you’ll be better!”
👉 “You were brave to stand there and speak in front of everyone!”
That made me smile. I learned that no one is perfect at first, and we all need practice. Even though I didn’t read the news perfectly, I was proud that I tried. Next time, I will be more ready, more confident, and I will try to speak more clearly.
This experience taught me an important lesson:
It's okay to be nervous. What matters most is that we try our best and never give up.
Thank u.

My Day – Wednesday😊
Hy, Today is Wednesday. I woke up very early at 4:21 in the morning. It was still dark and quiet. After getting up, I went to wash my face to feel fresh and awake. Then, I started to wear my school dress and got ready for the super morning study. After that, I went to do super morning study, and I studied Science. It was interesting and helped me understand the topic better. After one hour, I came back to my room to take a short break. Then, after 20 minutes, I went back to continue my morning study. After the morning study, I went to my room to do SUPW work for the hostel. Then, I went to breakfast with my friend. After eating breakfast, I went to class to do class SUPW with my friend. Then, after SUPW, I went to the morning assembly. During the assembly, we had a Menstruation Day program. After that, I went to class. MISSING MOTHER😢
I know she loves me, and I love her more than anything. But I miss how close we used to be. I miss how she used to put me first, how she would notice even the smallest things that made me happy or sad. Now, I sit quietly, hoping she will see the hurt in my eyes, but sometimes, she’s too busy to look.
I miss the late-night talks, the warm hugs, the way she used to make me feel safe and important. I miss her smile when she looked at me with pride. I miss being her little girl—the one she used to hold close, protect, and love with all her heart.
Even though she is with someone else now, and her world is different, I still carry every memory of her love inside me. I still wait for the day when she will sit beside me like before, hold my hand, and say, "I’m still here for you."
No matter what changes, she will always be my mother. And I will always miss the way things used to be.
THANK YUH N ALWAYS MISS YOU AMA.

Today day ✔
My Morning in May
Hi, I woke up early at 4:10 in the morning. I got out of bed and went to wash my face to feel fresh. Then I wore my dress and got ready. After that, I went to attend the super morning study, where everything was calm and focused. It felt good to begin the day with learning. After one hour, I came back to my room. I rested for 10 minutes and relaxed my body before continuing with the morning study. Then, after the short break, I went back to the morning study. After that, I went to do SUPW (Socially Useful and Productive Work) for about 20 minutes. It felt good to do something useful with my hands. Then I went to eat breakfast, which gave me energy for the rest of the day. After breakfast, I came to school, excited to learn new things and discover more about the world around me.
During the first period, I had science class. I felt bored because I am not very good at science, and it was hard for me to understand. But in the second period, I started to feel better and more interested in studying. At 12:35, it was time for lunch. I went with my friends to eat, and we talked and laughed while enjoying our meal. After lunch, I came back to class to continue learning and paying attention to my lessons.
After the eighth period, we had club activities. I went to the club with my friends, and we had a lot of fun doing different activities together. During club time, we cleaned the classroom together. After cleaning, we watched MTV for fun and relaxed before the day ended. Then, after club, I went back to my room and practiced math. I worked hard on my math problems because I want to improve and get better at it. After two hours, I went to the evening study session. After studying, I went to dinner. Then, I rested for about 40 minutes. Later, I returned for night and super study to finish my day with more learning. The super night study ended at 9:35. I went back to my room and went to wash my face before getting ready to sleep. I went back to my room and washed my face. Then, I said goodnight to my roommate and went to sleep.
THANK YOU.

About myself😊
Hello to everyone, my name is Tshering Pelzom, and I am a class 8 student from the beautiful and peaceful country of Bhutan. I come from a caring and loving family. My mother’s name is Seldon, and my father’s name is Pema Wangda. They are my biggest source of love and support. They always encourage me to study well, be kind to others, and grow up to be a good human being. I feel lucky and blessed to have such wonderful parents.
In school, I enjoy learning different subjects, but my favorite subject is Dzongkha. I love Dzongkha because it is our national language, and learning it helps me connect with my culture, traditions, and identity. I enjoy reading Dzongkha stories, writing essays, and speaking the language with pride. I always try my best in Dzongkha class and hope to become even better at it.
One of the most special people in my life is my best friend, Uzang Tshering. We do almost everything together. We study, laugh, play, and support each other through good and bad times. Uzang is a true friend—loyal, caring, and fun to be with. Our friendship means a lot to me, and I am very thankful for it.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing in my journal, drawing, and spending time with my family and friends. Sometimes, I sit quietly and think about life or enjoy the beauty of nature around me. I also like listening to music and learning new things that help me grow.
I believe in being kind, respectful, honest, and hardworking. These values help guide me in everything I do. I always try to help others, whether at school or at home, and I feel happy when I can make someone smile.
In the future, I dream of becoming someone who can help others and serve my country. I don’t know exactly what I want to be yet, but I want to make a difference with my knowledge, my voice, and my actions. I want to make my parents proud and be someone my country can look up to.
Every day is a new chance to learn and grow, and I am excited for the journey ahead—with the love of my family, the friendship of Uzang, and my love for Dzongkha guiding the way.
THANK YUH.
