Hello to everyone, my name is Tshering Pelzom, and I am a class 8 student from the beautiful and peaceful country of Bhutan. I come from a caring and loving family. My mother’s name is Seldon, and my father’s name is Pema Wangda. They are my biggest source of love and support. They always encourage me to study well, be kind to others, and grow up to be a good human being. I feel lucky and blessed to have such wonderful parents.
In school, I enjoy learning different subjects, but my favorite subject is Dzongkha. I love Dzongkha because it is our national language, and learning it helps me connect with my culture, traditions, and identity. I enjoy reading Dzongkha stories, writing essays, and speaking the language with pride. I always try my best in Dzongkha class and hope to become even better at it.
One of the most special people in my life is my best friend, Uzang Tshering. We do almost everything together. We study, laugh, play, and support each other through good and bad times. Uzang is a true friend—loyal, caring, and fun to be with. Our friendship means a lot to me, and I am very thankful for it.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing in my journal, drawing, and spending time with my family and friends. Sometimes, I sit quietly and think about life or enjoy the beauty of nature around me. I also like listening to music and learning new things that help me grow.
I believe in being kind, respectful, honest, and hardworking. These values help guide me in everything I do. I always try to help others, whether at school or at home, and I feel happy when I can make someone smile.
In the future, I dream of becoming someone who can help others and serve my country. I don’t know exactly what I want to be yet, but I want to make a difference with my knowledge, my voice, and my actions. I want to make my parents proud and be someone my country can look up to.
Every day is a new chance to learn and grow, and I am excited for the journey ahead—with the love of my family, the friendship of Uzang, and my love for Dzongkha guiding the way.
THANK YUH.
